Brittany
Hello! My name is Brittany. I am a craft beer enthusiast and dog lover living in Austin, TX! I am from Dallas, TX, born and raised, transplanted to Austin for better career opportunities. I have an amazing husband of 3 years, and 2 wonderful dogs, Luke and Leia (we are obviously big Star Wars fans). Leia is a cream pure bred Shiba Inu, and she is 2 years old. Luke is a 1 year old mutt from Austin Pets Alive! who stole our hearts when he was just 5 weeks.
My love of craft beer started on my very first date with my husband. We went to a craft beer pub in Plano, TX, and I ordered a snakebite. He quickly got me into stouts and porters, and before long I had made the jump straight into IPAs! I consider myself to be a hop-head, but really the darker and higher in ABV, the better! I do not give many beers a 5 cap rating on Untapped, but a few of my all time favorite 5 cappers are French Quarter Temptress – Lakewood, Ascension Coffee Porter – Community, Pliny the Elder – Russian River, Or Xata – The Bruery, Fēn Táo – Jester King, and Electric Jellyfish – Pinthouse Pizza.
My hobbies include hanging out at local breweries, traveling, cross stitch and embroidery, playing with my dogs, and playing board games. I generally do all my hobbies while enjoying a beer, duh. My favorite place to travel is Colorado. I love the fresh mountain air, and driving through the beautiful scenery. I look forward to sharing this journey with you all! Cheryl
Hi there! My name is Cheryl and I’m a Midwesterner living in Austin, TX. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI where I fell in love with craft beer and oh, well, my husband Aaron too. My journey with craft beer started when I had my first Riverwest Stein from Lakefront Brewery. Some other favorite breweries that I miss (please distribute in Texas!) are New Glarus Brewing and Milwaukee Brewing Company. My favorite styles of beer are sours, belgians, hefeweizens, and coffee porters. I tend to stay away from the hoppier beers but am intrigued when there’s fruit involved.
My husband and I both work in the tech industry in Austin and we have a black lab, Chloe, and a giant domestic longhair cat, Hoefler. In my free time, I’m usually at a local brewery in town with friends or chilling at home binge watching Netflix and taking up embroidery and cross-stitch. I’m a sucker for BuzzFeed articles and trying new DIY tricks or recipes from Pinterest. Feel free to follow my adventures @_socheryl to get a better glimpse of my life!
Germaine

Hello! My name is Germaine. I currently call Austin home but was born in Singapore and grew up there and in North Carolina. My journey into craft beer started while I was in grad school and microbreweries started popping up in Raleigh, NC serving great beer for cheap (big plus for a poor grad student)! Hanging out at these breweries soon became a weekly thing and has only increased in frequency since moving to Austin. A couple of my favorite OG Raleigh breweries are Lonerider and Big Boss. As for beer styles, I lean towards sours, stouts and porters. But I’m a sucker for label descriptions, if it sounds delicious I have to try it. Also if it has tropical fruits I definitely need to drink it!
I have two Shiba sidekicks, Tenzo and Mei, who love being brewery pups and trying to sneak licks of beer. Their hobbies include Nosework, Agility, begging for food, going on walks and demanding affection.
Aside from beer and dog related activities, you may find me doing any of the following: working on embroidery, building furniture, bingeing tv shows (while working on embroidery), playing board games (Dominion is my fav), reading a young adult dystopian trilogy, planning my next vacation, trying new restaurants and attempting to recreate elaborate Pinterest recipes. Follow me @mainesiew and Tenzo & Mei @shibaantics to see what we’re up to!
Kimberly
Hey y’all! My name is Kimberly and I currently reside in Austin, TX. I don’t typically call Austin home because my heart will always belong in New Orleans. That’s where I was born and where I lived until I left for college. My family still lives there so I get to visit a few times a year and I would never miss a Mardi Gras if I can help it.
So to be honest, craft beer hasn’t always been my thing. I like to say that margaritas and hurricanes were my first loves oh and cider too! Beer slowly started growing on me. My boyfriend Jared would always have me try his beers so I could get accustomed to it and help me find styles that I like. I would say my favorite beers would be gose, fruit fermented sours, hefeweizens, wits, and porters. I really don’t like hops, the bitterness kills me… I’ve got a sweet tooth. 😉
Aside from hanging out with friends, exploring new drinks and breweries, I absolutely love spending time with my dog Sierra. Fun fact – we got the idea for her name from Sierra Nevada Brewing, it was the brewery that opened Jared’s world to craft beer. Recently, I have found a new passion for health and fitness. I started doing Crossfit a little over a year ago and I am obsessed with learning more about who I am and what I capable of. Anyway, that’s enough about me!
